We had an amazing experience with Amanda. Right from the beginning she was super organized and really helped us flush out a concepts on renovating our house. She had interesting fresh ideas but also really listened to what we wanted. She really helped us design a beautiful home that functioned for our family's lifestyle.

Amanda was such a pleasure to work with. She was organized and fun and brought a fresh perspective to our kitchen space. She respected our busy schedules and came prepared to every meeting so that we could focus on deliverables and areas that needed immediate focus. Her creative and fun approach to style and problem solving allowed us to navigate our project quickly. Though our kitchen was updated a few years ago, the layout and design have stood the test of time - we always get compliments. We are soon planning on selling our home after loving it for 13 years (and sadly our kitchen will have to stay with the house) 😉 but we are confident that this space will be a key driver in a successful sale. I lived in what could only be described as an 'old man semi' in the Upper Beaches (wood panelling, peel n' stick carpet...you get the idea.) I now live in a magazine worthy modern/rustic space that truly represents our family and feels like home. I owe this transformation to the extraordinary skills Amanda McPhail Design applied to make this vision a reality.They truly listened to how I wanted our space to look and feel and made suggestions accordingly within our budget parameters. Amanda McPhail Design exceeded my expectations: they responded to my (many) questions quickly and thoroughly. They carved time out to get samples and drop them over, redo specs on our kitchen drawings, make call after call to suppliers to ensure that our items arrived on time. She did not hold back from letting trades know they were dropping the ball and needed to pick it back up - fast. Her strength, charisma and energy dealing with our whole house renovation made the experience far more manageable than I ever expected a reno of this scope could be. I would highly recommend them.
